Extended Shackles Landcruisers

Extend your original shackles by approx 45mm (2″) to give your vehicle a lift. These shackles have 10mm thick steel side plates and has greaseable nipples. They also have an anti-inversion bar to stop the shackles from flicking under in severe articulation conditions. Fitted to Leaf Sprung vehicles. This kit has 2 shackles for the front or 2 shackles for the rear.

Extended Shackles Kit Toyota Hilux

These heavy duty extended shackles are approx 45mm longer (130mm pin to pin) than original shackles and will give your Hilux approx a 1.5 to 2 inch lift. The sideplates are 10mm thick for extra strength. They are fitted with grease nipples that may be positioned so they are on either the outside or inside.

This kit includes:

2 x front shackles

2 x rear shackles.

Extended Shackles Kit Toyota Landcruiser

These shackles usually provide up to approx 40 to 50mm lift to the front or rear of your leaf springs and are fitted with an anti leaf inversion bracket to stop your leaves from flicking under. They are also fitted with grease nipples allowing you to re-grease your spring bushes when required. They are usually sold in pairs. You will need 1 pair either for the front or rear of your Toyota. Fit all 60 series and 75 series traybacks or Troopy’s.

These shackles will also fit FJ & BJ 40 Series 1969-1980, however you will need to purchase a set of specially built leaf bushes for the shackle and leaf spring end. This kit is available from APE and comprises of 8 Bushes for either front or rear. Please order one bush kit for your small-eyed FJ or BJ 40 at a cost of $24 per kit. [Small Eye Special Bush Part Number: APE4113]

If fitting these shackles to a post-1980 FJ40/BJ40 then the above bush kits will not be required.
